There are some stories that feel loud.
And there are some stories that begin in silence.
On March 1st, I’m honored to release Frost To Bloom, Book One in The Turning Seasons Series — a story about quiet courage, near-misses, hospital rooms, flower shops, and the slow thawing of guarded hearts.
This book has lived with me for a long time.
It begins in winter — not just the season, but the emotional kind.
A brother sitting beside a hospital bed.
A young woman arranging flowers in the back of a small shop.
Two lives defined by responsibility, loss, and the quiet weight of surviving.
And then… a New Year’s Eve gala.
A glimpse of crimson by a window.
A moment missed.
But sometimes the most important connections don’t arrive in fireworks. Sometimes they begin in the stillness after midnight — in second chances and small acts of bravery.
As the epigraph reminds us:
“To be human is to be broken. To be broken is to be unique. And to be unique is to be beautiful.”Â
Frost To Bloom
That quote sits at the heart of this story.
❄️ What Frost To Bloom Is Really About
At its core, this isn’t just a romance.
It’s about:
- The weight of responsibility
- Learning to live again after sacrifice
- Anxiety and the fear of not being enough
- The courage to let someone in
- And the truth that love doesn’t erase pain — it gives us strength to carry it
Jake has spent years being strong for everyone else.
Natalia has spent years hiding inside the safety of what she can control.
But spring doesn’t ask permission to arrive.
 It simply does.
And sometimes healing looks like:
- A bouquet of lilies and daisies
- A café table in sunlight
- A sister who refuses to let her brother stop living
- A dance you almost didn’t take
🌷 The Turning Seasons Series
Frost To Bloom is Book One in The Turning Seasons Series — a collection of interconnected romances centered around growth, healing, and emotional transformation through the metaphor of the seasons.
Winter. Spring. Summer. Autumn.
Each story will explore a different stage of the heart.
But this one?
This one begins in frost.
And it dares to believe in bloom.
